05 Days Country Grange / Shangrila Farmstay

Day 1 Singapore Taipei Yilan

Meet and greet by local representative upon arrival in Taipei. Transfer to Country Grange Homestay located in Yilan Province. You can enjoy cycling around the fields, DIY Fruit picking (At own expenses), have a taste of flower tea and coffee (Free flow) while experiencing the countryside life. In the evening, enjoy a local flavour cuisine.

Day 2 Country Grange Shangri-La Leisure Farm

This morning, visit National Art’s Centre in Yilan city. The vision of building this art centre is to retain the traditional arts for the next generation. Continue to Goose Tea Plantation and experience the process of producing smoked eggs. Smoked eggs are boiled in the mountain spring water for about 8 minutes. Tonight, we will check-in at Shangri-La Leisure Farm. Breath-taking scenery is a promise; you will experience the agricultural stay and fruit ranch living style there. Do enjoy the activities organised by the farm in the evening.

Day 3 Yilan Taipei

After breakfast, transfer back to Taipei. En-route, visit Chiufen—an old gold mining town located in the hills east of Keelung. It is a unique in Taiwan for having preserved its historic architectural beauty. With the aura of an old mining that still apparent, Chiufen radiates a variety of emotions. Then, visit Taiwan Storyland - Asia's biggest retro-style street scene museum holding a collection of over 600 items. It focuses mainly on early Taiwanese farmer's life; including stops like town chief Mr. Chen's house, an old-fashioned convenience store, a stage for traditional puppet shows, a photo shop and a pharmacy. After which, proceed to Ximending shopping district; a place where you can look for fashion and local snacks.

Day 4 Taipei

After breakfast, visit Martyrs Shrine, known for its peacefulness with the colourful buildings set against a backdrop of hills. It was built in honour of those who sacrificed in various wars fighting for the Republic of China. Then, visit the historic landmark of once the home of President Chiang Kai-shek, and the estate is located on one of modern-day Taipei's main streets. Tamsui Old Street, a place where the Tamsui River meets the Taiwan Strait. More than just a great place for fresh seafood, nature provides the town with beautiful views. Like Keelung, Tamsui has a colourful history (Lunch at own expenses). We will then visit Fisherman Wharf where you can see one of the famous views “Sunset in Tamsui”. In the evening, visit the largest and most famous night market in Taipei, Shilin Night Market.

Day 5 Taipei Singapore

After breakfast, free and easy till time to transfer to airport for your departure flight.
