Itinerary

Day 1 Singapore Kathmandu

Check in at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal for your flight to Kathmandu. Lunch will be served onboard the flight. Our local guide will meet and greet you at the airport on arrival and then transfer to your hotel by private car / or coach / or mini van. After a short rest, leave for Patan Durbar Square, one of the oldest Buddhist Cities in the world. It is believed that the city was founded in the 3rd century A.D. and was known for its finest traditional crafts and rich artistic heritage. The square rose to its full glory during the Malla period.

Day 2 Kathmandu Lumbini Bhairawa 380km/8hrs

After breakfast, drive to Bhairawa. Enroute lunch, visit the birth place of Lord Buddha. The main feature in Lumbini is the Sacred Garden, the Maya Devi Temple and the Ashoka Pillar which was erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC.

Day 3 Bhairawa Pokhara 360km/7hrs

This morning drive to Pokhara and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the Himalayas from west Dhaulagiri to Lamjung Himal in the east including world famous the Annapurna I (8091 m), 11th highest peak in the world, Dhaulagiri and the most beautiful and sacred peak Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and surrounding hills and hill- settlements with beautiful morning sunrise (Sun rise and mountain view tour can be organized locally with extra cost on request). After which, continue with Pokhara City including Bindabasini Temple, Devis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Seti Gorge and lastly Tibetan Refugee Camp.

Day 4 Pokhara

Pokhara is the most popular destination for visitors to Nepal. There is little in its past by way of neither history nor culture impact and the only important role that the old Pokhara played was that it was along the route of trade between India and Tibet. Today it is one of the fastest developing cities of Nepal, mainly due to tourism. The natural beauty of its lakeside location and its proximity to the mountains has made in the natural choice for trekkers and adventures. Pokhara is also the base for some of most famous trekking circuits of Nepal. Foreigners find the Pokhara an oasis where leisurely meals good books and shorts walk can easily fill several days. After lunch, take an hour boating on scenic Fewa (Phewa) Lake with visit at Barahi Temple, the most important monument in Pokhara. Built almost in the Center of Fewa (Phewa) Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protector deity representing the female force of Shakti. Sufficient time will be arranged for own shopping at the touristy shopping streets.

Day 5 Pokhara Kathmandu 160km/4-5hrs

This morning return to Kathmandu. On arrival, visit Kathmandu Durbar square, one of the major attractions in Kathmandu Valley. The word Durbar Square translated in English as Palace Complex. The Durbar Square, with its old temples and palaces, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people.

Day 6 Kathmandu Nagarkot 32km/1.45hrs

After breakfast visit the 2000 year old Swayambunath Stupa, resting stop at a green hillock west of Kathmandu. It is known as monkey temple as well. Charm with its great dazzling stupa, while at the same time offers a marvelous view of Kathmandu City. Our next destination is Patan, the oldest and the second largest of the three major cities of Kathmandu valley. Midway stop at a Tibetan refugee camp to see the Tibetan carpet factory, you will see the spinning, dyeing and weaving of the Tibetan Carpets. You may wish to pick up your favorite carpet. After Sightseeing proceed to Nagarkot a mountain resort which sits at 2300m above sea level. From this lovely scenic spot if the sky is clear, ones’ can watch the excellent view of the Himalayan range including Mount Everest.

Day 7 Nagarkot Kathmandu 32km/1.45hrs

Early wake up to witness stunningly spectacular dawn (either view on sunrise or sunset): the very first rays of the sun firing the peaks, a lush red rays gradually lighting Himalayas from Kanchenjunga and Everest in the far east to the Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri in the west. After having lunch, leave for Kathmandu. Arrival and transfer to hotel.

Day 8 Nagarkot Kathmandu Singapore

After breakfast, free till departure transfer to the airport for your flight home.
